Noooooooooo, I am not READY for Fall yet!!!!! I'm still waiting for Summer! It has been very cold (60's, 70's) in Michigan, setting records. The joke in Michigan is what a great Fall we're having this Summer. And guess, what? Fall is my favorite season. I really just wanted Summer to occur first. So, I will really admire your beautiful leaf, and I will really anticipate Fall when it is September 21st. But not until then :)

It's been in the 90's here this week - unusual for the end of August. I look forward to those crisp days of fall though. Apples and soups and pumpkin bread. Mmm. (can you tell I haven't eaten dinner yet?)

Sorry to usher summer out early! Especially for those of you who haven't had much of a summer.

We've been having quite the heat wave this summer, and I"m just ready for a change. I've also been dreaming of escaping to the mountains for a bit of an sabbatical too. And it's always cooler there than here!
