A Secrt Garden Gate?

I've always been enchanted by the idea of a secret garden. Maybe it has something to do with Alice In Wonderland or Harry Potter's adventures. Whatever it is, I seemed to be drawn to unusual doors and gates—they are a portal for my imagination.
The title "Secrt Garden Door" is a typo. My right brain was
(And as a wise woman once shared with me...if you can't fix it, feature it!)

Ah this is charming.. misspelling and all. Knowing me I would have tucked a litte e in there and ruined it. :)
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of my favorite all time book... The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett. A book that turned me onto Gardening as a child.
I do calligraphy myself, and have found misspellings a constant companion. When we are writing something slowly and focusing on the letters, it is easy to 'get lost' in the word.

ReplyDeleteGlad to see others do it too. It's a charming page, misspelling and all. On my latest misspelling, I even had the whole word (correctly spelled) written out on tracing paper - I just didn't COPY it correctly!

ReplyDeleteSecrt is more criptic, like texting, or a code to gain entrance. I'm also fascinated by doors, archways, and paths.

ReplyDeleteI always see a gate as an invitation, so how appropriate! I laughed at your right brain spelling, mine does exactly the same thing! When I start writing, I have to wake up the left brain - or else. Lovely gentle colors and washes!
