Foiled Again!
7:42 AMWorking late at night, when I'm way too tired to be painting, can lead to thoughts of grandeur, illusions of prowess, imagined deftness of handling difficult passages, and a unrealistic satisfaction in a sketch that is short lived......

.....upon waking and viewing the same sketch in the brilliance of the morning light. Not only is this not what I saw when I went to bed, "someone" stuck an extra "i" in my geraniums! How inconsiderate!
The cool thing about all of this is that I can simply say, "Next!" and turn the page......

Those sketchbook goblins don't know how to spell. tee hee... I think this is delightful. If you hadn't mentioned the extra i I probably wouldn't have noticed it. That is how the mind works with words on a page.

ReplyDeleteI think it's pretty, Laure! The ribbon is gorgeous and so are the flowers. Re the "i" ... gosh darn, HOW does that happen? SNORT! I used to have a no creating after 11 pm rule ... but now I rarely stay up past 11 pm anyhow .... :-)
