The Courage To Be Creative
9:00 AMCheck out that helmet! |
I passed this couple on my errands the other day and when I noticed his helmet, I had to smile. I may have even laughed out loud as I was so delighted!
If I could have, I would have complimented him on his creativity.
Bye! |
But for me, it was a reminder to embrace my creativity and to be willing to get out of the mainstream.
To be true to myself. I haven't done much of that lately. Unless you count wearing red cowboy (cowgirl?) boots.
I need to kick that up to the top of the creativity to-do list.
What have you done lately to stretch your creative wings?
If you haven't, what are you waiting for? And no, this is not a rhetorical question. I really want to know what holds you back.

so funny; certainly bought a chuckle from my side of the world .... I am trying to stretch my wings with some quirky digital imaging manipulation idea I have. It will take a while to complete and I can't spill the beans yet .........
ReplyDeleteOh me too Laure, I love to see someone who has broken away from the herd. The other day I saw an senior lady with long grey hair flowing down her back and she looked wonderful!

This couple is having a great time no doubt.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun helmet. I've been working on making small quilts of my own design lately. They're for another class I've been doing, and it's been a great challenge.
ReplyDeleteGood questions... I'm not that creative. I did buy some red shoes recently - in an effort to be more playful. But, they are still in the box.... I think I'll try wearing them this weekend or next week and see if that makes me lighten up and get the creative juices flowing....
ReplyDeleteDyed my hair purple and have kept it this way for about 6 months now but I just think of it as being what I wanted and not creative. Creativewise I've been decorating my house and yard over the past year. This has been something totally new for me as my hatband has never given me such free rein to do this before always wanting to compromise all my color right out from under me. Now I've got color, color, color!
