Nice to know you had a good holiday. We had our first snow last night here in Ohio. Didn't last and today is sunny. I think I like our weather better than AC on Thanksgiving. Love this little page.

Lovely, peaceful sketches for Thanksgiving. What a great idea to sit beside the pond and sketch this time of year. We actually made a koi pond in our backyard that I could take advantage of .... but I'm not sure who is ahead right now regarding the koi -- my husband and I or the local herons? I just don't remember if we actually have any koi out there at the moment.

Claire! You've got a great sketching opportunity there. My brother's koi are quite large—it would take a very large bird to lift one of them out of the pond.
