Another one to add is that it didn't 'break the bank'.... it didn't cost anything - budget was no object. Glad to hear that you enjoyed designing it and that it helped you get healthier.<br />I enjoyed hearing about it as it reminded me of floor plans I drew as a child and dollhouses. I remember as a child one of my favorite things to draw was my future dream home, though of course I did not do as detailed a sketch as you've done.Kathy A. This reminds me of a plan I have to convert a dull looking house built into the side of a hill (remember when that was popular?) and make it look like a hobbit house. :) I think that would be so cool.Lisa at Greenbowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07743973292900758183noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6711781124266002702.post-15881406904252040682014-02-03T16:55:20.711-05:002014-02-03T16:55:20.711-05:00I love it! I thought it could even be real someday so I have planned it with real stuff I've searched out but I've sketched and collaged in my Home Sweet Home journal a lot too. I did this before I got to California as a means of hoping for the future when I didn't know if I'd get here or not in the forseeable timeframe. It really does help! I hope you are feeling much better by now but that doesn't mean you have to stop dreaming in your tiny cottage. It's great any time life is giving you fits!Timareehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15769047120660859743noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6711781124266002702.post-27290918571066355802014-02-03T13:51:02.908-05:002014-02-03T13:51:02.908-05:00I would love to do that, what a great exercise to ...I would love to do that, what a great exercise to escape from life and recharge your batteries. I hand-built the house and added rooms (it was so fun--but hard figuring out how to do the roof with a loft bedroom). Then I started making furniture out of clay...it is so cute. I loved doing it. I haven't looked in my little cottage in a while. I think I'll take a peak! Kellyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02263405659108175434noreply@blogger.com
